Madison Black, University of North Carolina at Charlotte

Madison Black is a junior at UNC Charlotte majoring in Psychology with a minor in Spanish, on track to graduate in December 2025. She serves as a resident advisor and undergraduate research assistant in the Markant Lab, and is an active member of the Organizational Science Club and Psychology Student Coalition. Madison plans to pursue a master’s degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology after graduation. She is especially interested in employee motivation, workplace satisfaction, and team dynamics, with a growing focus on how organizational interventions impact diverse group outcomes.

Marvin Brown, Johnson C. Smith University

Marvin Brown is a rising senior at Johnson C. Smith University, majoring in Business Management and minoring in Social Work. His passion for creating effective support systems for vulnerable populations grew during his study abroad experience in Ghana, where he served marginalized communities. Marvin is an active member of the Ronald E. McNair Post-Baccalaureate Program, a reporter for Golden Bulls TV, and a Presidential Scholar. He is also involved in the Pre-Law program and the debate team.

Moises Difuti, Johnson C. Smith University

Moises Difuti is a dedicated scholar pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Psychology at Johnson C. Smith University, with an expected graduation in May 2025. Passionate about industrial-organizational psychology, Moises has gained practical experience as an I/O Psychology Institutional Research Intern and is skilled in data analysis and research methodologies. He holds certifications in project management and Python programming. Moises has also served as President of the Fitness Club and contributed to content creation and modeling, as well as appearing as an extra in the film Byron. Professionally, he works as an In-home Associate at Walmart, demonstrating strong multitasking abilities. Moises aspires to use industrial-organizational psychology data-driven strategies to improve workplace culture and performance in the corporate world.

Athena Donas, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill

Athena Dontas is a rising junior at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, majoring in Psychology. During her first two years at UNC, she has been actively involved in several clubs and organizations, including holding an administrative role in the Kenan Community Government, participating in the Best Buddies program, and volunteering with Summit Church groups on campus. She has worked as a Research Assistant for a PhD student at Rice University, gaining experience in Industrial-Organizational Psychology.

Steven Fields, Jr., University of North Carolina at Charlotte

Steven Fields is an aspiring graduate student with a strong interest in organizational science. He is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies with a concentration in organizational communication. He has demonstrated leadership through academic and extracurricular activities, including conducting communication audits and engaging in research methodology projects. Steven is passionate about understanding how communication shapes workplace dynamics, particularly in the areas of employee engagement, productivity, leadership, collaboration, and conflict resolution.

Zoe Fields, North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University

Zoe Fields is a junior majoring in Business Administration at North Carolina A&T State University. Throughout her academic journey, she has gained professional experience with organizations such as The Home Depot, Duke University, and Wells Fargo, and most recently participated in an event with Fidelity Investments. Known for her passion for networking and relationship-building, Zoe embraces the philosophy that “Everything happens for a reason,” carrying gratitude into each opportunity and challenge. She plans to pursue graduate studies in business, either through an MBA or a Master’s in Business Sciences.

Kaylee Harper, North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University

Kaylee Harper is a recent graduate of North Carolina A&T State University, where she earned a B.A. in Psychology. She completed research internships in neuropsychology and organizational behavior at UC Berkeley and Harvard Business School. On campus, Kaylee served as President of the Association of Black Psychologists, an Honors Ambassador, a February One Scholar, and an SGA Senator. Her leadership and service work reflect her commitment to fostering inclusive, high-performing work environments.

Nevaeh Holloway, North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University

Nevaeh Holloway is a psychology student at North Carolina A&T State University with a strong commitment to mental health advocacy and community service. Originally from Prince George’s County, Maryland, she has volunteered with organizations including the American Red Cross, Black Child Development Institute, and Girls Like Me Greensboro. She has participated in research and educational initiatives, held leadership roles on campus, and gained professional experience in both healthcare and corporate settings.

Emma Lorber, University of Central Florida

Emma Lorber is a junior at the University of Central Florida majoring in Industrial-Organizational Psychology, with a minor in Cognitive Science and a certificate in Human Resources. A member of Psi Chi and a research assistant in the UCF Occupational Health Lab, Emma has maintained Dean’s Honor Roll recognition since 2022. In 2024, she interned at Space Resource Technologies, where she developed a passion for innovative problem-solving in emerging industries. Her research interests include gender disparities in workplace practices and healthcare, the role of diversity in leadership, and how interpersonal bonds in the workplace impact motivation and prevent burnout.

Jeanique Lundy, Philander Smith University

Jeanique Lundy is a rising senior at Philander Smith University majoring in Psychology with a minor in Business Administration. An international student from the Bahamas, she is passionate about leadership, research, and student success. Jeanique serves as a Peer Success Specialist, mentoring first-year students and promoting academic and personal growth. She is active in the Robert L. Williams Psychology Club, the Arkansas Association of Black Psychology Professionals, and Young Ambassadors for Sexual Health. With strong interests in industrial-organizational psychology, Jeanique plans to pursue graduate studies focused on workplace dynamics, leadership development, and employee well-being.

Isis Marsh, Fayetteville State University

Isis Marsh is a junior at Fayetteville State University, pursuing a degree in Work and Organizational Psychology. She is passionate about understanding workplace dynamics, employee well-being, and how psychology can be applied to create healthier, more productive work environments. Isis is an active member of the Psychology Club, collaborating with peers on discussions and activities related to various psychological topics. Her research interests focus on workplace dynamics, employee well-being, and organizational behavior, with a particular interest in improving job satisfaction, productivity, and mental health in professional settings.

Tanasia Murchinson, North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University

Tanasia Murchison is a junior psychology major at North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University and a member of Psi Chi, the international honor society in psychology. She is a fellow with Teach For America’s Ignite Fellowship, tutoring third graders in reading, and serves as a mentor through True Colors, a campus organization supporting first-year students. Passionate about mental health and criminal justice, Tanasia plans to pursue a master’s degree in psychology with the goal of becoming a prison psychologist.

Luis Tejada, University of North Carolina at Charlotte

Luis Tejada is a rising senior at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, majoring in Sociology with a minor in Statistics. He is a member of the University Honors and Sociology Honors programs and serves as Vice President of the Student Association of Sociology. Luis has contributed to research projects on digital platform work, pro-immigration politics in news media, and arts organization assessment, gaining experience in both qualitative and quantitative research methods. He is also an undergraduate preceptor and plays alto saxophone for the Pride of Niner Nation Marching Band. His research interests include hierarchy and power in organizations, digital platform work, arts and culture organizations, and educational inequalities.

Franklin Villalta, James Madison University

Franklin Villalta is a fourth-year student at James Madison University, pursuing a major in Music Education with a concentration in String Education. Passionate about music and community service, Franklin works to help students grow in their musical journeys. Through the JMU Music Education program, he has gained experience teaching students from elementary to high school. Franklin is also actively involved in the Latinx Student Alliance, Grupo Candela semi-competitive Latin Dance team, the American String Teacher Association, and the First-Generation Society. His research interest is cybersecurity.
