He is currently a senior at Allen University, where he is majoring in Banking and Finance. His primary research interest is in motivation.

Shawn-Poteat1_webShawn Poteat is a native of North Carolina, and currently attends UNC Greensboro. He is very interested in workplace relations and diversity, specifically in terms of the effects of leaders’ communications to their subordinates. Having been employed for a number of years, he became part of an African American mentorship program focused on advancing black males in academia.

Courtney-McCluney_webCourtney McCluney is a junior at UNC Chapel Hill majoring in Psychology and Communications with a concentration in Interpersonal and Organizational Communications. She is Vice President of UNC’s Psychology Club and will be involved in the Ronald E. McNair Scholar Post-baccalaureate Achievement program next year. She is interested in studying organizational diversity and the effects of women and ethnic minorities in upper level management.
