Originally from Liberia, John T. Sampson graduated with an Associates of Arts Degree (Magna Cum Laude) from Stella Maris Polytechnic in Monrovia. He is currently a senior at Allen University, where he is majoring in Banking and Finance. His primary research interest is in motivation.

Shawn Poteat
Shawn Poteat is a native of North Carolina, and currently attends UNC Greensboro. He is very interested in workplace relations and diversity, specifically in terms of the effects of leaders’ communications to their subordinates. Having been employed for a number of years, he became part of an African American mentorship program focused on advancing black males in academia.
Courtney McCluney
Courtney McCluney is a junior at UNC Chapel Hill majoring in Psychology and Communications with a concentration in Interpersonal and Organizational Communications. She is Vice President of UNC’s Psychology Club and will be involved in the Ronald E. McNair Scholar Post-baccalaureate Achievement program next year. She is interested in studying organizational diversity and the effects of women and ethnic minorities in upper level management.
Atalecia Hudnall
Atalecia Hudnall is a senior at Louisiana State University and will graduate in May with a a B.S. in Human Resource Management and a minor in Communication Studies. Atalecia’s interests in organizations includes leadership, organizational culture and climate, workplace diversity, employee motivation and participation, and communication effectiveness.
