Ashley Rankin is a Sophomore at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte majoring in Psychology and minoring in Communication Studies and Urban Youth & Communities. She currently is part of an undergraduate research group that studies the impact that professional clothing events held at the Jamil Niner Student Pantry have on UNC Charlotte students. These events, named ‘Attire for Hire’, involve a partnership with the University Career Center where students are taught professional development and personal branding tools. Students also have an opportunity to receive free professional attire for future jobs and interviews at these events. Through her role as a University Professional Internship Program (UPIP) at the Pantry, Ashley is able to manage and upkeep the clothing closet at the Pantry. Her other campus involvement includes serving as a member of the UNC Charlotte LEAD Team, Student Alumni Ambassadors, and as an undergraduate Teaching Assistant.

Alleluia Musabyimana
Alleluia Musabyimana is a graduating senior at Eastern Illinois University where she majors in Sociology and minors in political science. She is a member of Alpha Kappa Delta National Honors Society program and is a sociology tutor and mentor for the athletic department at her school.
Alleluia is currently completing a research study on how a person’s race and gender might influence their experience in the workplace, and ultimately their ability to attain leadership positions. Alleluia plans to explore this topic further in her pursuit of graduate school and post graduate work. Given her academic interests, her future plans and career goals involve working for a human rights organization like the United Nations or a non-governmental organization while continuing to conduct research in the areas of social inequality in hopes to help develop solutions to social issues.
Tierra Kirts
Tierra Kirts is a graduating Senior at University of Houston-Downtown where she majors in Psychology. She plans to pursue a PhD in Industrial/Organizational Psychology to become a consultant and educator. She is originally from Pineville, Louisiana and currently resides in Spring, Texas. She enlisted in the United States Army in 2012, working as a Human Resources Specialist. During her active-duty service she was a member of the 2015 Total United States Army Soldier Show, won Soldier of the Month, and discovered a passion for understanding how the organizational structure affects the productivity of its employees. Throughout her military career, Tierra found passion and fulfillment in serving others. She continues to serve in the Army Reserves as a Human Resources Sergeant, an AmeriCorp VISTA, and as Chairman of Operation Legacy Lady Spartans at Texas Flight Museum.
Kyana Ebanks
Kyanna Ebanks is a rising senior at University of North Carolina at Charlotte and is majoring in Psychology with minor in Biology. She is currently a Desk Assistant in Levine Hall and works to help residents get accustomed to living on campus and provide loan key services to residents. She is a member of the Levine Hall Leadership Team which helps connect the residents of the building through activities and is currently a member of Psi-Chi, the National Honors Society for Psychology. Upon graduation, Kyanna plans to pursue her masters and doctoral in Industrial-Organization Psychology. Upon the successful completion of her graduate studies, she would like to become a director of Human Resources with a focus on Diversity and Inclusion.”
