Makai Ruffin is currently a junior at Bowling Green State University. She is majoring with a BA Psychology with a minor in General Business. In addition, she is a member of the Undergraduate Psychology Association. Makai has worked as a research assistant under the field of animal cognition that dealt with the behavioral patterns of homing pigeons. Moreover, Makai has also worked as a research team member looking at the well-being of the unemployed through social media sentiments. Makai is planning to continue her academic career by obtaining a doctoral degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology with a focus on job performance, selection, or organizational development where she can apply her training in the private sector.
