Michael is a rising senior at Purdue University Calumet. He is a McNair scholar and is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in both psychology and criminal justice. He is currently serving a second yearly term as an officer in Psi Chi. He is a member of the Association for Humanist Sociologist and the psychology club. Michael’s diverse research interests include coping strategies for racial minorities, minorities and SES advancement, and forensic psychology. Michael’s long-term goal is to earn a PhD in social psychology to help “at-risk” youth in communities that experience adversity.
