Melissa Marie Carrion is a senior Sociology major and Psychology minor at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. As a non-traditional and first generation college student, she has earned numerous honors in academics and leadership. She is currently involved in multiple research projects with psychology faculty and is interested in inequality of gender, age and race/ethnicity in the workplace with regards to selection, training and development, and promotion.
