
Elise Haylett is a rising senior at Appalachian State University majoring in Psychology with a Business Concentration and minoring in Marketing and Statistics from Brooklyn, NY. She currently works as an office assistant in the Multicultural Student Development Office. She is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and the president of the Black Student Association on App State’s campus. She is also a peer mentor for underrepresented and marginalized students apart of the ASCEND Supplemental Orientation Program housed by the Multicultural Student Development Office.
Elise is currently apart of an Industrial/Organizational & Human Resource Management (IOHRM) Research team with graduate students learning SAS Coding and researching college aspirations in high school students of rural high school areas. She is looking to enroll in the Industrial/Organizational Master’s Program at New York University. Her ultimate career goal is to create a workplace that is better and more diverse for individuals working at a company. She wants to implement programs that will have an effective organizational structure to optimize the flow of work and encourage employees to ha [Field]ve longevity at a company.”
